Wyatt graduated from Pacific Coast High School, today, June 8th, 2011.  He had a 3.8 or higher grade point average.  His ceremony was wonderful -- here are some pictures from it.  Hope you enjoy them.

California and then some...

Mom enjoyed hearing all about the wines, she bought a port, an after dinner wine.
The lady that worked there was very attentative to mom. She wanted to fix her up with her 90 year old grandfather, who golfs everyday. He lives in Santa Cruz.
Chris was surprised! He actually enjoyed his sandwich. The dressing on the salad was a different matter! No Poupon dressing for him!
This fresh salmon is really fresh!! (raw). We each had a taste but mom got to have the lion's share.

We shared with the waiter that I had seen the show with Guy Fieri. He was french also, and enjoyed talking with Solange.

After we left the girls, we went to a winery north of where we stayed. Mom and I had a glass of their wine with our lunch the day before, and we really liked it, so we found the winery and did their wine tasting. We were the only people there, since we got there just as it opened. We enjoyed it very much, bought some bottles to take home, and then headed for Sacramento. I wanted to treat mom to lunch at Cafe Rolle, a cafe that Guy Fieri visited on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We enjoyed it very much. Then we hit the road for home. Make sure to keep going down to the next post. We posted several things, and I guess we have to alert you all to that! Enjoy!

California trip

More on the California trip...we met the girls at Sutter Creek, just below Sacramento. They got there a couple days before us, and so they showed us around the little town. Very cute, we had a good time.

I think the girls had fun over the weekend because there was a big Junk sale and they got some neat items to sell.

We all enjoyed exploring the little town of Sutter Creek. Old time buildings, a town of gold rush days. It was fun.

Mom and I enjoyed a wine tasting here at Scott Harvey Wine Tasting Shoppe, and then we went across the street for a nice lunch.

McDonalds play structures are just about as much fun as the park, especially when they race each other and then stop just before they get to the bottom. We had such a great time having them. And Dad and Mom were able to getting most of their packing done without little people trying to help! Of course, they still had Caleb, but it worked out very well for all.

Grandchildren come for a week of time with gramma and grampa.

Abigail loves climbing all over this and Elijah is so sure of himself on all of the equipment! It is fun to watch them. After this, we went to McDonalds for ice cream, and they got to play on McD's play structure also!

We take Abigail and Elijah to a park in Redmond because it has a lot of things for them to climb on. They have such a good time there.

Sharing at Easter Time

It was going to be a very quiet Easter with just one couple from church, Dave and Malissa. But the Lord had other plans. From Wednesday to Sunday this small group of 4 grew to 18! We had such a nice dinner and everyone enjoyed!
