Today is Pust, a Slovenian holiday (and other countries too. It's Mardi Gras) where all the kids put on costumes so we joined in this year. Abigail borrowed a costume from her friend, Lili, and I got one for Eli at Children's Place for $5 when we were there at Christmas...a left-over from Halloween. One of the malls was having something at 10am...I thought the sign said "face painting" so Sarah, Lili's mom, and I took the kids. It turned out that's not what they were doing and it was actually just one pre-school class there doing some fun dancing, then coloring a paper mask. They were nice and let the kids join in their fun.
For some reason...Donuts are a traditional thing to eat on this holiday. So after we all got donuts.
It was fun. I sent an email to see more pictures...here's a link if you want to see more. Enjoy!
