Wednesday in South Carolina

Mark had an appointment at the VA so the girls went shopping while we took him there. Afterwards us guys went to the USS Yorktown. It was a great day.
They had a lot of planes on the flight deck. It was a really fun experience for Elijah. There was not a piece of equipment not climbed on and he had lots of room to run.

We were there over 2 hours and didn't even come close to seeing everything. There was also a submarine next to the carrier, so Joel, Elijah and I walked through it from stem to stern.

Tuesday in South Carolina

Tuesday was a transition day. We spent most of the day in the time-share. In the morning Joel took the kids to the pool, and in the afternoon we all went to the beach.

Monday in South Carolina

Monday Cindy had the day off so we all went to Downtown Charleston and had lunch. The main street has a bunch of restaurants and we ate outside at an Italian restaurant.

Walking back to the car Abigail wanted to carry Julie's purse. It reminded me of when Amy was that age and copied her mom's way of carrying her purse. When we got back to the car we drove through the city. It really had a European influence in the buildings
.Afterwards we went to a park for the kids to play. Abigail was getting tired of having her picture taken by then and Elijah just goes too fast when he is playing.

Back Packs!

Hey California Clan!!

Thank you so much for the backpacks and books for the kids and the Target gift card!! What a fun surprise...it was so sweet of you all to send that to us! The kids had fun opening the box and are loving their backpacks. Abigail took her doggie with her to Target this morning as we shopped! We got Caleb a fun toy and some clothes for the kids as well as new swimsuits for when Mom & Dad come to visit next week! Abigail chose a "ballerina" swimsuit, pink with a netted tu-tu! We'll have to take a picture of her wearing it!
I like this one with Caleb's hand up...he's saying "hi!" Guess who just adores Caleb??We all do actually!
