Abigail's birthday beginning!

Dear Papa and Gramma,

Thank for the birthday card. I liked the pictures. I'm having a happy day. Abby Birthday. I love you. Abby

We're having fun celebrating Abigail today and so wish we could do it all together! We're having the actual party today at 3, but started celebrating this morning. She got to open a present this morning that was a bag of baby doll accesories...she's enjoying that already (She'll get the bathtime doll at the party). But I think she's most excited about balloons and probably would have been satisfied with a bag of balloons for her birthday!

Family fun time

The Werdebaughs came over the other day. We were planning on spending the day at a lake, but it ended up being yucky weather so we just hung around here, went for a walk, played at the school...

It was good to be with them and hear how their summer is going. And the kids enjoyed playing together...well, Abigail enjoyed having the boys around, but I'm not sure how much they actually noticed her. : ) They really enjoyed the Sing-Along-Stage. I'm telling ya...that toy is so popular at our house!! I've noticed though, that boys mostly just like to bang on it, whereas Abigail much more enjoys listening to the music, dancing and the nice view it provides! : )

These are early morning pictures. They estimate between 30,000 to 40,000 people come to this show. Quilts are hanging all over town like this first picture. Juie did really well at this show. The location was right in the middle of town and on the main street.

Almost sitting up!

Elijah is almost sitting up on his own these days. Sitting in this bean-bag-chair really helps out with that and having this fun toy to bang on really makes it worthwhile for him.
